The structure is mainly composed of benzene rings, and also contains hydroxyl groups directly connected to the benzene rings and methylene groups that act as bridges to connect the benzene rings to each other. The benzene ring, hydroxyl group and methylene group in the polymer will undergo a series of complex cracking, polycondensation and rearrangement reactions, so it has high carbon residue rate and carbon-forming structure strength after pyrolysis.
Tenlead's special resin for carbonization and granulation is a thermosetting liquid water-soluble phenolic resin which is polycondensed from phenol and formaldehyde under basic catalyst by controlling the reaction conditions. It has the advantages of uniform molecular weight distribution, good wetting function and uniform mixing performance, high adhesion, good heat resistance, good ablation resistance, good stability, zero ash, low free phenol content, and high solid content.
